VoterVoice Tracking Tags

Overview

Our new Tracking Tags Page allows your organization to track advertisement performance through your advertising vendors by adding in tracking javascript and image pixels (tags) to your advocacy actions. You no longer have to reach out to the Support team to get tracking pixel scripts added.

Key Features

Adding Tracking Tags

Tracking Tags can be created either on the centralized Tracking Tags page under Settings, click “Create Tracking Tag.” or on the Promote section of any advocacy action: (Campaigns, Surveys, Petitions, or Events), click "Add Tag".

You can add third-party tracking tags, (such as LinkedIn Insight), to your Registration page, enabling better analytics and campaign performance tracking for your advocacy programs.

Here you would choose whether to apply this tag to the Alert (landing) and/or the Confirmation pages of that advocacy action. Then you would enter the tracking javascript or image pixels (tags). The system will automatically detect which type of tag has been added, click "Save" at the bottom of the pop-up.

The tag will be added to the list. If you need to add multiple tags, you must add them one at a time, repeating the steps above.

NOTE: Tracking tags can currently be used only for Campaigns, Petitions, Surveys, Events and the Registration page.

Managing Existing Tags

Tags cannot be edited; they will need to be deleted and added back. To delete a tag, click the 3 dots at the end of the specific advocacy action that has the tag applied, then click Delete.
