While the 'Which Plugin Code to Use' article offers a brief overview of available plugin codes, this guide provides a deeper dive into each option and its specific functionality.
To access the plugin codes, click the Profile icon in the top right of the admin site and click the "Settings" menu. You will see a new list of options; select "Action Centre" to access. You will be taken to the Global Settings tab, which allows you to control the Action Centre widgets, the Advocate Profile, and the Welcome Email sent to advocates. Click the "Site Settings" tab to access the Plugin Codes.
You will see the Home version of the plugin by default (below), however, you can click the "Feature" dropdown to view the plugin code specific to any individual tools in the system.
The Home version of the plugin will show almost all the available tools in the system, but you can choose any of the following plugin code options to embed on separate pages of your site.
- Address/Directory
- Bills
- Blog posts
- Campaigns
- Candidates
- Election Center
- Events
- Newsletter Archive
- Petitions
- Register
- Scorecard
- Survey
Once you choose the option you want from the "Feature" dropdown, you will see the plugin code change just a bit. Just click the copy to clipboard option to copy the script and embed it on your page.
Note: Both the Blog Posts and Newsletter Archive plugin codes will direct users to the newly renovated Blog & News page.
