Disabling Mobile Site Redirection

VoterVoice automatically hosts a mobile version of the Action Center for every new client. However, if you prefer to use the plugin script instead of the hosted version, you can direct mobile users to your own website through the VoterVoice links.

If your website is mobile-responsive and you have installed the plugin, you can easily disable the default mobile redirection from within the Action Center Settings.

Step 1: Access the Action Center Settings

  1. Log in to the VoterVoice administrator site.

  2. Click the profile icon in the top-right corner.

  3. Select Settings.

  4. Click Action Center from the dropdown menu.

Step 2: Open the Site Settings Tab

  1. When the Action Center Settings load, you will start on the Global Settings tab by default.

  2. Select the Site Settings tab to view the configuration options.

Step 3: Locate the Mobile Redirection Controls

The toggle switch for Mobile Site Redirection will appear only if you have entered your website’s Action Center URL in the designated field (as shown in the screenshot below).

Step 4: Disable Mobile Redirection

  1. Under Mobile Redirection, switch the toggle off.

  2. Click the green Publish Site Settings button located on the upper right-hand side to save your changes.

Once this setting is disabled, mobile users who click a VoterVoice link will be sent directly to the URL you provided rather than the default hosted mobile site.
