New Admin Site Styles

VoterVoice has recently released an updated look and feel to the admin site. All of the functionality remains the same, but is now shown with updated styles and a new, easier menu! This article will provide you with:

• video overview, webinar, and an in-app tour
• an explanation of specifically where tools have been moved
• a detailed outline of the menu structure

Where Can I Access...

A Place to Make New Content

Instead of clicking the tool button corresponding to the type of content you want to create, choosing the first option from that menu, and then clicking the "+New XYZ" icon on the subsequent page, you now click the Create menu and then choose what you want to make.

Clicking on any option here will take you to the corresponding tab that can also be accessed from the specific tool under the Advocacy menu.

Metrics and Reports

Instead of clicking the menu item corresponding to the type of action you're interested in and then choosing the reports option, all the reports (campaigns, petitions, surveys, events, and broadcasts) are accessed from the Reports menu. 

Clicking on any option here will take you to the report tab that can also be accessed from the specific tool under the Advocacy menu.

The Dashboard

Instead of clicking the Home menu item...

...you now click the VoterVoice icon. 

Tools Pertaining to My Contacts Database

Instead of clicking the People menu and then choosing to search, manage custom fields, update your list, etc...

...you now click the People menu and choose Contacts. All the possible options appear as tabs you can access easier. 

Actions

Instead of clicking individual menu items for Advocacy, Petitions, Surveys, or Events...

...you now click on the Advocacy menu.

The Bills and Scorecard Tools

Instead of clicking the individual menu items for Bills or Scorecard...

...you now click the Legislation menu.

Administrative Settings

Instead of clicking the gear icon in the top-right corner of the page...

...you now click the icon with your initials in the top-right corner of the page.
