Your supporters may come into an advocacy campaign natively through your site, through an advertisement you are running, or through a link on social media; but the strong majority will come in through a call to action broadcast that you send through VoterVoice.
The example above shows a call to action email with three smartlinks that not only brings the supporter to the specific campaign you want them to take action on but also imports their information into the user profile. Your email broadcasts will not have a VoterVoice logo at the top, but will rather include your association's branding as determined by the template you choose when creating the email.
When they click a smartlink, they will see the advocacy campaign on your Action Center. The screenshot below shows five key elements that your supporters will see.
- Action Alert (red box): This is your message to your supporters about the issue at hand and how it affects them.
- Modes of Communication (green box): These icons show the user how they can reach out to their officials. It only appears if more than one option is selected in the campaign editor.
- Recipients (light blue box): These are the targets you want your supporters to contact.
- Sample Message (dark blue box): This is the message you suggest your supporters send to their officials.
- User Profile (purple box): This has the supporter's information.
Once someone takes action by clicking the "send message" button, they come to a confirmation page.
The user is able to return to the campaign and take action using a different contact method by clicking the icon for the appropriate contact method.
There is thank you language you can edit on the Confirmation page of the campaign editor.
There is a list of the officials who have been contacted that also specifies the method of contact.
The easy share icons will only appear for public campaigns. You can choose to customize the suggested social media post language on the Confirmation page of the campaign editor.
