In your VoterVoice system, you can use the Blog tool to easily create and post information to your action center. You can use this to update your members on important issues, craft content better suited to a website rather than email, etc.
Creating and Editing Posts
You create blog posts from the admin site by clicking on the Messaging menu and choosing the option for Blogs. The default tab (Blog Posts) allows you to edit existing blog posts by clicking on the name of the post in question) or create a new post by clicking the "New Post" icon at the top-right corner of the page.
When creating a new blog post, you'll first enter the name of the post and publishing date. For the publishing author, start typing into the field and matching administrator accounts will show to choose from. You can continue typing to use any publishing author name you'd like.
Next, choose whether you'd like to allow comments on your blog post.
You can allow comments, showing them immediately or requiring approval; or you can disable comments altogether.
Next, you'll enter the content you want for the headline and body of the post. After you have completed your posting, just like a campaign, we'll provide options to broadcast the blog post out to your supporters.
Managing Comments
The second tab on the Blogs page (Blog Post Comments) allows you to view and approve / disapprove of user-submitted comments on your blog posts. The initial view of the page allows you to see the number of comments and the number awaiting approval.
To view comments for a particular post, simply click on the name of the post. If any of the listed comments require approval, you can do so by checking the box in the "Approved" column.
