The Campaign Report provides you with details regarding all the contacts made through your advocacy campaign. You will find information on the supporters who sent messages, the legislators who received messages, and the messages themselves.
The Campaign Index
From the admin site, click on the Advocacy menu and choose the option for Campaigns. On the Campaigns page, select the tab for Campaign Report. Alternatively, you can click on the Reports menu and choose the option for Advocacy. Both processes will bring you to the same page where you will see at a glance:

- The total number of messages sent
You will also see the ability to adjust the time frame of the information shown (defaulted to one year) and a “Download CSV” that will give you a spreadsheet of aggregated information for all campaigns within the selected timeframe.
The Campaign Report
To access the detailed report for a particular campaign, click on the desired campaign name. You will come to a page with four graphs:
- Grassroots Messages
- Message Types
- Recipient Type
- Sender Type
Grassroots Messages
This first bar chart displays how many messages your contacts sent within specific time periods. If you click a particular bar (or the “total” section), a report appears and displays which of your contacts sent a message, to whom they sent it, and when he/she sent it. You can also read the body of the sent message by clicking “view.” If you click the “download csv” button, you will receive a spreadsheet with that information and additional details.
Message Types
The pie chart beside it displays how many messages your contacts sent grouped by type: email / webform, phone call, FaceBook, or Twitter. If you click on any wedge in the graph, you will information pertaining to the messages of just the selected type: which of your contacts sent a message, to whom they sent it, and when he/she sent it.
Recipient Type
The third chart displays the recipient type: House, Senate, City Council, etc. Clicking on a wedge will display a pop-up that shows individual legislators and the number of messages they have received.
Click on the legislator’s name for a information on him or her. Click on the number of messages he or she received to view the details for each.
Sender Type
The last chart separates the sender types: new senders vs. old senders. Like the others, each section of this chart is clickable to view those specific contacts. New senders are those who first took action on this campaign. Old senders have also taken action on other campaigns in your system.
Other Features
